Error in DAP’s own polls proves they are
hypocrites & unfit to rule
It is ironic that the DAP, which has
constantly criticized the Barisan Nasional government as well as the Election
Commission, had faced problems within their own party polls. What is even more
mysterious, and scandalous, is that it took them 3 weeks after their party poll
was concluded to finally announce the mistake. Why the delay?
DAP has always portrayed themselves as
fighting for democracy and their support for free and fair elections. They also
constantly hampered and found fault with the Election Commission’s attempts to
reform. Now, the tables are turned and we can see that DAP themselves are not so
perfect after all.
Showing
a Malay CEC member was elected to avoid further public backlash
What is more ominous from this internal party
poll was that despite its discovery immediately after the results, DAP did
nothing and kept it a secret until three weeks later. What was the reason for
the delay? Could this all be a ploy by DAP to cater to the Malay crowd by
rearranging those who were elected so that a Malay, namely Zairil Khir Johari,
is among the top 20, thus allowing DAP to claim that the Malays are more open
towards DAP now?
Their inefficiency and incompetency in
handling their own polls also signal the fact that should Pakatan rule, there
will be chaos within the country as they cannot even handle something as simple
as their own internal polls properly and professionally.
Top echelon DAP leaders missing from press
conference
It is also horrifying to note that during the
press conference to announce this mistake, no high ranking DAP leader was
present, with the exception of Tony Pua. Are they too proud to own up to their
mistakes? What sort of example are they showing to their members and to the
rakyat?
