The announcement by PAS President Dato’ Seri HadiAwang that the three component parties of Pakatan Rakyat had agreed to the implementation of hudud law during their meeting in Selangor and Penang is proof that DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng is a hypocrite and has deceived the people. I call on Guan Eng to explain HadiAwang’s statement and to stop deceiving the people, andif he fails to do so then he should resign from his position as DAP Secretary-General and Penang Chief Minister.
Guan Eng must make a stand and DAP should stop being hypocritical by stating that they are against hudud laws in front of non-Muslims, but condone hudud law in front of Muslims.
Guan Eng had once said that DAP’s top leadership will resign if Pakatan Rakyat incorporates the implementation of hudud laws into the BukuJingga.
Guan Eng had also once said that he disagrees with the implementation of hudud laws in Malaysia. But why did HadiAwang say that the three Pakatan Rakyat parties had agreed to implement it in our country? This proves that Guan Eng is lying.
PAS will never give up their goal of imposing hudud law in Malaysia, and Guan Eng and DAP know that. However, they continue to bring in support for PAS simply for their own personal gains and status, ignoring the interests of the Chinese by continuing to associate themselves with PAS.
HadiAwang had also said that the establishment of an Islamic state is part of PAS’ constitution even though it is not listed in the BukuJingga. Therefore, Guan Eng is incapable of stopping PAS from their ultimate goal of setting up an Islamic state.
I urge Guan Eng to stop evading the subject on hudud law and immediately reply to the two questions posed by MCA President Datuk Seri Dr Chua SoiLek and accept the challenge of a public debate.
While PAS and DAP continue to claim that hudud will not affect non-Muslims, but in Kedah and Kelantan we can see that the law is unfavourable to the non-Muslims there, and Kelantan has even issued summons onthe employer of a Muslim woman whose arm was exposed while working.
